The Nigerian Journal of Solar Energy (NJSE) is a fully open-access journal, meaning all articles are freely available to readers worldwide immediately upon publication. To cover the costs of publishing—including peer review management, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and archiving—NJSE charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts.

  • Authors from Low-Income Countries (LIC) as defined by the World Bank (100% waiver)
  • Authors from Lower-Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) (50% discount)
  • Graduate students and early-career researchers (upon supervisor recommendation)
  • Authors facing documented financial hardship
